Mandatory Reporting and the Therapeutic Relationship

Mandatory reporting of child sexual abuse is being introduced to Ireland.

This master class which will be held on November 20th 2015 will:-

  • Explore in depth the impact of the mandatory reporting on the therapeutic relationship
  • Allow therapists to explore their personal challenges in implementing the policy
  • Using case studies to examine transference and counter transference
  • Review the legal situation

The course is participative and experiential and includes presentations -small group work. Extensive hand-outs will be provided.

This one day course is suitable for psychotherapists who have already completed One in Four’s Child Protection and the Counsellor / Psychotherapist training.

Price: Early Bird price of €95 until Oct 31st – then full price of €120.
