Hakomi Therapy Training 2017

hi-logo-1

We are very pleased to announce that 2017 will see the beginning of a Hakomi multi-level training in Ireland. Multilevel training means Hakomi Introduction and Levels 1, 2 & 3 all in one workshop. Everybody learns at own level in a group of many levels. Learning Hakomi occurs through deepening into the Hakomi principles and state-of-being. The content of the workshop is carefully structured to support all skill levels. All levels of Hakomi experience and skill are welcome. Anybody wishing to have an introduction of Hakomi can come along to any workshop. Individuals wishing to start the full Hakomi training may attend. People who have had some Hakomi experience and have already partly completed a Hakomi training are also welcome.

Who can attend?

Anyone who has an interest in understanding themselves and others and in working with present mind-body experience can benefit from this training. Note that this is experiential training with a requirement to self-study.

Anyone in the healing professions—psychotherapists, counsellors, social workers, allopathic and naturopathic physicians and nurses, homeopaths, body-centered practitioners, and people in care-giving situations—will find within this method techniques to enhance their practice. This training is an ideal add-on for professional development.

The format is 3 * 5 day trainings for 3 years. After completion of 45 days training, a certification of completed Hakomi training will be issued. The training is valuable for developing skills that are applicable in many contexts. Should you however wish to practice as a Certified HEN Hakomi practitioner you will need to complete the certification process. This involves providing evidence of competency in the form of self-critiqued videos of Hakomi sessions.

Each year we will offer 5day trainings 3 times a year. All trainings will take place in Ashe HouseLusk/Corduff, North Co Dublin, on regular bus service, 15 …read more
