Mindfulness in Supervision
One day workshop – 6 CPD Hours
The practice of mindfulness brings many benefits for the supervisor, the supervision process and the supervisee.
In this workshop, we will explore the use of mindfulness in supervision and attendees will learn mindfulness practices to bring to their work and their lives.
We will also look at the related topics of compassion and self-compassion imperative to the supervision relationship and process.
Facilitator: Padraig O’ Morain, M.A. (Creative Writing), B.Sc. (Hon. Psychology), MIACP and Supervisor, MWGII, Diploma in Counselling, Graduate Member of British Psychological Society. Padraig O’Morain is a counsellor, supervisor, trainer, writer, poet and journalist who writes and speaks on psychology and on how people can apply its lessons at work and in their personal lives.
