The Diamond Approach offers an experiential understanding and awareness of our personality and of our deeper nature. It is an open approach, welcoming people where they are and helping them take the next steps appropriate to their own personal, unique development. The Diamond Approach grew out of, and in response to the needs of people leading ordinary lives in our current Western culture. It is an evolving path of self-realization and human maturity based on an original synthesis of modern discoveries in the field of psychology and a new paradigm about spiritual nature.

An ongoing group has formed that uses the in-depth experiential teachings of the DA to support the self realization and development of the group and of its individual members. The group meets in a weekend format four times a year and is still open to new participants. The meetings are held in Castletown, Port Laoise. The teaching team is led by Jim Terrien together with John Smalenskas and Breda Perrem, two teachers resident in Ireland who also carry out ongoing individual session work with Diamond Approach students.
