Telephone and Online Psychological Support For Essential Workers During Covid-19 Pandemic
IAHIP, the professional body representing over 1,000 humanistic & integrative psychotherapists in Ireland, is offering free psychological support to essential workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Individual IAHIP accredited therapists have volunteered to offer various forms of online and/or telephone support.
A register of volunteer therapists can be found here on the IAHIP website
Many essential workers fall outside the remit of the HSE psychological support service and IAHIP is aware of the potential psychological and emotional impact that working in essential services during the Covid-19 pandemic can have on individuals and their families.
IAHIP wants to support such workers during these difficult times, and IAHIP believe that they could benefit greatly from professional support.
Essential workers do not need any referral, and can make contact with a therapist directly here on the volunteer register.
For further information on IAHIP visit their website www.iahip.org or contact them by email admin@nulliahip.org as the head office remains unmanned in line with HSE recommended guidelines.
