About This Event
The Clinical Case Study as Psychoanalytic Research Workshop
10am – 12pm Saturday 23rd September 2023
This 2-hr. online workshop offers APPI members and the wider psychoanalytic community an opportunity to explore this important topic in relation to their own work, to share experiences and to encourage discussion prior to and in support of the upcoming 2023 APPI Congress: Returning to the Clinical Case Study. The panel consists of 5 invited practitioners with expertise in clinical case studies and psychoanalytic research. The format of this workshop is conversational and discursive to encourage engagement and sharing of questions and knowledge. Panel members for this workshop are Gerry Moore, Helena Texier, Ali Khoshfetrat, Mou Sultana and Julie Brown. Mou Sultana will represent the APPI Events Committee as host. 2 CPD points are awarded for this event.

The Logic of the Clinical Case Study Workshop

This 3-hour online workshop offers a unique opportunity for members of the national and international psychoanalytic community to hear presentations from a variety of psychoanalysts and psychoanalytic practitioners on this topic, prior to and in support of the upcoming 2023 APPI Congress: Returning to The Clinical Case Study. The 6 guest speakers will present their papers for 15-20 minutes, followed by a Q & A session. Guest speakers are Dr. Derek Hook, Dr. Noreen Giffney, Dr. David Morgan, Ms. Maryrose Kiernan, Dr. Michael Holohan and Ms. Diana Gouveia. Ms. Geraldine McLoughlin will represent the APPI Events Committee as host. 3 CPD points are awarded for this event.
